Do you remember your first training session? How different is your training today?
I remember when I first joined a gym after having my son. That was more significant to me than my first time ever training in a gym was. I was a new mom and needed to get out of the house and find a community. I found it when I came back to the gym. (I’d had to give up the gym during my pregnancy due to complications.)

"FIT FEATURE: ANGIE SHOUP" - By European/German Fitness Photographer MikeCon Photography
Read MoreAngie lives in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and drove over 10 hours to come and work with me. She was a referral from my client Leslie. Angie and I talked over the course of a couple of months to ensure that her shoot was 100% perfect. The shoot was so good, that I tried to convince her to pack up and move to Colorado to be around more fitness minded people (Colorado is awesome for that!). Below is the interview that I did with Angie. I truly hope that you read what she has to say, and I pray that it inspires others out there to do more, and be more!
"WHY IT IS A SPECIAL PRIVILEGE TO BE A PHOTOGRAPHER" -By MikeCon Photography
Read MoreFor me as a fitness photographer, I get to learn the stories about my people and how they got to where they are. To me, that’s important because when they tell their true stories, there’s someone out there that’s probably going through the exact same story as the person that I’m working with. Sometimes it’s eating disorders, being bullied, growing up with abusive people, being the overweight person, or just wanting to better themselves physically, spiritually and mentally. They all have their own different reasons and struggles, and I love hearing about them because it drives me to ensure that they get the absolute best out of me, so they can tell their story if they desire to inspire.
"WHERE I FAILED IN THE MILITARY" -By MikeCon Photography
Read MoreAlways take care of your clients!! They’re the ones who keep your lights on, fuel up your vehicles, and put food on your table. Treat that Lance Corporal just like a General, and the person with 300 followers like someone with 300 million followers. If they’re paying for your products, then you should be giving them your absolute best, and not just a half-hearted effort, or mediocre work.
